Social Network Marketing On The Net

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

Imagine, you have your site but need traffic right away. What’s the best and cheapest way of marketing effectively and reasonably .

Social Business Model is a great way to get traffic and a lot of it. You can make yourself become as human as possible and be very personal with your prospects. What’s more, you are no longer a computerized robot asking for credit card information, you become genuine and real in what you do. You make your prospect view you as a good new friend with shared interests. You sure know that there are a ton of Social Network’s such as MySpace, Facebook, MyYearbook, Twitter, the list goes on and on. In fact, how do you get it all up and running?

In the first place, create as many Social Networking sites as possible and make them personal. Keep in mind the following thing: don’t create a page that is all about your business and that’s it. Quite the contrary, talk about your likes and dislikes, your hobbies, add some fun and quirky pictures, your hobbies, your family, where you have been and where you want to go, don’t forget your business! Just don’t make it all business, that will turn off a ton of potential prospects, and your pocketbook will see the results in the end.

Secondly, create a group for your Social Network and add people daily to this group. Add your links, make daily posts, add some photos, talk about business, and make sure this is a business related group; create discussion topics in your group so others will become active in your group. It suggests that you need to join as many other groups as you can: this opens up a lot more prospects for you that are interested in the business idea already.

Furthermore, add as many friends as you can daily. Post bulletins about your business daily, chat on line with your friends through the sites messenger if possible, find something in common with your Social Network friends and run with it. Though never go in with a sales pitch, casually bring up the topic about what the two of you do for a living.

Keep in mind that you always have to keep your Social Network Marketing profile up to date and running, so join chat rooms and discuss your business. What are the benefits of your business? Why do you love it so much? What makes it better than the rest? Never forget: don’t be a hard pushy salesman, if they are truly interested in starting a business they will ask you about it. Social Network Marketing takes some time setting up profiles, writing out all the info, joining and adding groups, etc. but once you do it the first time you’re done. As you won’t have to create a new profile everyday, it makes the task easier and easier as the days go on. Social Networking is one of the cheapest and most effective ways to market to a wide range of people with just a few clicks.

Lastly be unique in everything you put on your profile, have fun with it. If you already have a personal Social Networking site that you use for your friends, try to replicate the content of that one for your business site, just with your added links and a little bit about what you have to offer. Post a blog if possible just about your business and how it works, don’t forget to fill the description with all the advantages it offers for your prospects. You should understand that people want to know what they are getting involved in and how it will help them and their situation.

And to top it, all these tips will drive a huge amount of traffic to your site daily if you stay persistent in your actions. I should admit that Social Network Marketing will get you significant results and help your business take off.

Can You Run Social Networking Sites As A Marketing Mechanism ?

Tuesday, July 14th, 2009

Let me tell you that social networking sites are not just for posting pictures of college beerfests or some other. In fact, they have become a convincing marketing tool that if used correctly, can drive business to your website and, what’s more important, turn them into sales. The truth is that the key word here is used properly and correctly. It will be useful for you to find out that people who use social networking sites, in fact, do not want to feel as if they are being used by some company that is simply trying to make money.

Social Marketing Business

Among the rest you should also remember what social networking sites are and what their purpose is. The main of them are: to make friends, get in touch with old friends, and connect people who have a shared interest. To that end, if we are making a closer investigation of this issue, social networking can work if you are subtle about your marketing efforts. Believe it or not, but actually, according to statistics, while people who use social networking sites may claim they don’t want to be marketed to, a huge number of users actually are doing just that. What are they doing there but marketing themselves? Frankly speaking, as far as my personal experience may be taken into account, it’s hard to resist a captive audience of millions who are all online and, as a matter of fact, could be potential customers. The thing is that if you don’t have an account on one or all of those social networking sites and you have a business, you could be missing out on customers, all with money to spend.

Social Business Networking

First of all this type of marketing is precious for one thing, it’s free. What’s more important, it allows its users to upload videos, news, start fun contests, etc, which can entice viewers to your profile and customers to your website. Moreover, it is so flexible. It is well-known that it allows the user to build a web page, completely customizable, including links to your business website. As far as the issue is concerned, for example, if you sell sporting goods, make your account mostly about sports. The other important thing to add is that you can change it according to what teams are doing well or what sport is heading into its season. Going further, for instance, it can be used as a fun business tool because you can send your sale staff quick updates to let them know what you’re up to. Do you already have a potential buyer ? Fortunately, what is here a key point, you can inform them about new products or opportunities or big announcements or anything else.

Social Marketing Axiom - Offer What People Want

Friday, July 10th, 2009

It is true that learning the skills of social marketing is an important tool in your network marketing business. When you work for someone else, much of that is done for you. Yet, when you have your own network marketing business or any home based business for that matter, the challenge of meeting those social marketing needs will be all yours. Building your business with social marketing is more than just learning how to deal with people: it is a process of learning to offer value before expecting something in return.

Until recently, a traditional network marketing business was built by following leads, finding prospects, cold calling, doing follow up visits and pretty much anything else your upline suggested. Traditionally, most home businesses are built much the same. For your business to succeed you ought to have a source of contacts. Finding that source is extremely sluggish .

Sadly, even if you do everything right - even if you invest hours upon hours promoting your business, your prospects are probably half-hearted at best. The regular person can - with a click - access information that includes the negative as well as the positive. Much of this information is opinion based and not necessarily reliable - making it even more difficult to reach your target audience. Like everything else, technology is pushing for a change in how you build your business. And It is not that I am saying that the old business model doesn’t work anymore - because I know people who are still doing just fine with it. By this I mean that time is at a premium in today’s world. For example, have you noticed that families are noticeably busier than they were, say - even 20 years ago? There is so much competition in every area of family life that the average family simply doesn’t have any time left. They do, nonetheless, still need that surplus income.

Nowadays the most common option is still - to set up a home based business. With no travel time, they have the distinct advantage of being able to stay home where they can invest a few hours here and there; but, those few hours rarely show enough profit to make a difference. And who wants to add yet one more thing to an already packed schedule with little to show for it?

Social Business Networking

I should say, they need a way to leverage their time by setting up a business using Social Marketing. I first learned about Social Marketing when I enrolled in the University where I began learning about things like blogs, articles, journals, video, bookmarking and social sites. Another thing that was impressed upon us over and over again was this statement: Offer value in the first place - before expecting anything in return.

Social Business Networking

Let me offer you an example! I drove by a flower market on the way home today. On the large billboard outside, they announced the random name of one person from our community. Every week there is a new name drawn. That person only needed to stop by the store to receive a free dozen roses: no purchase, no entry, no strings attached. What a marketing plan! Give value before expecting anything in return. What do you think: any of those people ever return to purchase flowers?

Or another example: my friend has a guitar business. Many times he has offered valuable information to someone looking to purchase a guitar or offered his expert opinion on whether or not to fix or restore a guitar. Do they always return to buy from him? Not always. But, he knows that he has offered them honest value up front. Well, they are then free to consider the information and draw their own conclusions. And again you see: value before return.

Social Marketing Business

That is the fundamental taught at any course on business: always offer value before expecting anything in return. Undoubtedly building your business on the internet with Social Marketing offers so much more than just business tools. It will teach you to offer what people want - and how they want it.
