Importance Of Internal Link Building

Monday, September 7th, 2009

I know that some people are under the misconception that link building just means building links from external sites to your own. They may or may not be all that sure why this is important but they know that is must be important because everyone tells them to do it. Learn about Unique Article Wizard. Everyone is right but external link building isn’t the only kind of link building you should be concerned with. Internal link building is important too, maybe not quite as important as those external links but even that is debatable. In case you aren’t familiar with this terminology then an internal link is one that links one of your pages to another one of your pages on the same site.

If you want some confirmation that maybe I am just not making this stuff up, check out your Google Web Master tools dashboard and click on one of your sites. If you look at the menu on the left then you will see one marked links. Click on it and read what you see……Internal and External links are tracked in Google WMT so it must have some purpose right?

You bet it does….so let’s take a look.

Google Spiders - Internal links connect pages to each other and help the spiders find their way around your site. The more easily the spider finds your other pages then the better.

Anchor Text - The anchor text that you link to each page with is like a road sign for Google. It tells Google what that page is about and Google uses anchor text to determine relevancy etc as we have already discussed. Choose your anchor text wisely and make sure it is a keyword you are trying to rank for on that page.

Visitor Traffic - Readers love checking out links. If they hit one of your pages and like what they read then links to other pages or similar articles might keep them on your site long enough for them to find a product they want to buy.

Authority - Google assigns authority (PR) to pages based on the number and quality of links. Most sites have 95% of their external links pointed to the homepage. You can transfer some of that authority by deep linking to pages inside your site. The more links to every page on your site, the better. Learn Link Building with Social Bookmarking!

Indexing - Google will usually only index about 60-80% of the pages on your site because they find no value on some pages. If you build links internally to all of your pages then you will increase the number of pages indexed and that means more content to attract search engine visitors.

These are only some of the reasons why you should link internally on your sites. If you don’t buy into it by now then nothing I am going to say will convince you. The question is how to do it properly.

Buy Backlinks

Monday, September 7th, 2009

It is important to buy backlinks when trying to get higher on the search engines. The best way to get high on search engine results is to get websites to link back to yours. There are many ways to dump a link on a websites. One way is forum posting. Another method is commenting on blogs. You can also directly pay webmasters to add a link to your website. Hopefully when your website becomes popular and starts picking up traffic, other webmasters will link to you voluntarily. An example sites is WebMd.com. WebMD does not pay for backlinks yet it has millions. The secret is to have a resource that websites will want to link you. This is usually called link bait – extra content or widget that will encourage bloggers and webmasters to link to your website. This however is hard, especially for new websites. The best solution would be to first buy links and establish authority, then add the content and whatever necessary to encourage other websites to link you.
One important aspect to keep in mind when buying backlinks is the anchor text. If a site links you by your ‘cool site name’ or just puts in your site’s URL, then it will not have a worthy affect on the search engine rankings for your website on the keywords you are targeting. You always want to make sure that sites are linking you by the correct anchor text. Also pay attention to the website’s Pagerank. The best indicator of a high authority website and Google gives a lot of ‘link juice’ to is the site’s Google Page Rank. You can check the PR of a website through the Google Toolbar or the many free online Page Rank tools available. Be careful of fake pagerank though! Webmasters can use redirects to fake the pagerank of a website. This is beneficial because other webmasters will be fooled by the fake Page Rank and thus be willing to pay a lot for a link that is otherwise worthless. Google also blacklists many websites so make sure that the site isn’t blacklisted by Google before you buy! A good way to see that is to search the website’s URL on Google. If a website does not show up for its own URL then it is probably blacklisted. Having your website listed on a blacklisted site is worthless and can even negatively impact your ratings. The last thing that you should keep in mind is the reference tag that the actual hyperlink possesses. There are two possible tags: nofollow and dofollow. If the link contains the nofollow attribute then search engine robots will not crawl to your website and give you credit for the link. A hyperlink with a dofollow tag, or no tag at all, will tell the search engine to keep going to the website. Backlink Build and other link building services follow all the rules of good backlink-ing.
The last benefit spending money to buy backlinks is the increase of direct traffic. If your link is in a visible location then visitors of one site can click the link and be directed to yours.

The Necessity Of Effective Linking For Web Site Promotion And Search Engine Optimization

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

Website advertising is vital when cultivating your e-business and learning how to make easy money online. Creating a website alone isn’t adequate to carry a flourishing internet business. You have to assume the proper link building strategy to market your site in a search engine friendly fashion. Search engines believe link popularity to be a deciding factor in ranking websites among the search engine result pages (SERPs.)

A site that has authority links is in most cases going to place amidst the first ten results of the SERPs. The determinging factors for link popularity for each engine differs from the others. You are able to ascertain the link popularity by writing “Link:yourdomain.com” into any of the search engine. The complete details of the sites linking to your website will be before you.

If you ever want to learn how to make fast money online you have to be able to come up with an efficient link building technique to enhance the link popularity of your website. You’ll have to integrate three types of links to accomplish this– internal, external and reciprocal links.

Internal Links
The simplest imaginable way to having an effective linking design for your site is to create a sitemap. A sitemap is the structure of the entire website that shows links to all of the pages on a website. The links are displayed in accordance with the specific details of a subject. They are typically displayed in a hierarchical way. The links must be anchor text containing the keywords associated with your site. This makes the search engine’s job exceedingly simple.

Quality internal links are necessary both from an SEO standpoint, and also as a resource for your visitors. A website is rated based on whether or not it accurately and efficiently deeplinks all of its pages of information, and a sitemap assists visitors because it shows all the information on the site in a logical, easy-to-use structure.

External Links
Link building techniques also stress the necessity of outbound links. These make your website user-friendly, and also say something to your credibility. An authority website is secure that it is an authority, and for that reason isn’t preoccupied with irrelevant worries like “passing too much page rank.” It also knows that it cannot possibly give to its visitors all relevant information on a single website, and so it directs them freely to other resources that can be of use. Be aware of which sites you link to, though, because linking to a bunch of cheap, useless, low-credibility websites will reflect poorly on your own site.

Naturally, inbound links are the most important for any link building stragety. If you want to gain high rankings, you simply have to invest most of your energy getting one-way backlinks from other websites, pointing towards your own. This is most effectively done by sharing good, useful content. Just about everyone in internet marketing agrees that the content of a website is the foremost factor in natural link building. This goes back to what I said previously about being aware of which sites you link to. Other webmasters, naturally, will do the same.

Reciprocal Links
A somewhat unlikely approach to building links is also to arrange reciprocated links amoung your competition. This aids both parties involved. Each of them will offers a targeted, contextual, related link to the other, which among search engines are considered some of the best (not to mention the traffic this can generate.)

When you’re just starting to learn how to make a money making website, if you vigilantly employ these three types of link building, you are definitely setting an ironclad foundation as the basis of your website — be it blog, ecommerce, discussion group, or something else entirely. A solid basis of link building, doubled with a working understanding of SEO and advertising, will ultimately push you ahead of the competition, resulting in greater link popularity, greater rankings, and in the long run, greater success.
greater success.

Plus, while you are meeting new people with similar interests, you can become a serious member of the Internet community. Finally, in becoming a member of the Internet community, you will also increase your credibility.

• Suggest an Affiliation with other Websites

Even if you are not affiliated with a website, if such websites decide to link to you, you have created the suggestion that you are affiliated with such sites. Visitors will find that credible websites have supplied links to your website and they will believe that you have some kind of affiliation with the site linking to you—an illusion yes, but a powerful one indeed—one that increases your credibility on the Internet, as well as your ability to be recognized.
